 2016 Apprentice Contests:
Congratulations to all participants in the 2016
 Apprentice Contests. Representing Local 120 were Matt Raponi, Brad
 Mandel, John Sabetta, and James Boyle. Brad took 3rd place in the
 pipefitting category. James took 1st place in the sprinkler fitter
 category, and will be moving on to the next round of competition.

The Board of Elections is excited to introduce VoterNotify, a brand-new messaging tool that will allow voters to receive important election and ballot status updates via text and/or e-mail.

VoterNotify is the first initiative of its kind in the State of Ohio, and the BOE would like you to help test this new service by signing up today at

Voters who subscribe to VoterNotify will receive the following messages:

  • Confirmation when the Board of Elections has mailed and received your vote by mail ballot;
  • ​​Alerts of any issues with your returned vote by mail ballot (e.g., missing or insufficient voter identification information);
  • Reminders to return your vote by mail ballot, or info about where to vote and what time polls are open if you prefer voting on Election Day;
  • Notifications of upcoming elections and when and how to request your vote by mail ballot.
